The Emerald Planet Hybrid Photoelectric Smoke Alarm is an all-in-one model to cover all your smoke alarm needs! By far the most reliable alarm available.
It features a built-in 10-Year 3V Lithium battery which can be used as the sole power source, or the alarm can be hard-wired into a 240V power supply with the battery as a backup. The Hybrid Model can be used individually, or a compatible RF Module (not included) can be easily installed to interconnect up to 40 alarms together. This model is also compatible with other Emerald Planet accessories, such as the Emerald Planet Smoke Alarm Controller (not included). When used with the controller it retains a memory function for 48hrs so using the locate button on the controller will enable you to locate which of multiple interconnected alarms was the one that instigated a recent full alarm.
The Hybrid Model also features a test/hush system, enabling you to test the functionality of installed alarms and silence them when false alarming. The double mesh surrounding the Hybrid Model prevents contaminants from triggering a false alarm by entering the product.
